Reestablishment
The Parliamentary Candidate for North Dayi, Hon. Kudjoh Attah has this morning, Tuesday, 29th October, 2024 visited Vakpo Market to interact with both buyers and sellers. This is part of his initiative to re-establish the Vakpo market which was once vibrant but collapsed for so many years.
The magnanimous DCE out of his generosity, bought items from each person as well as food and drinks for all the market women who thronged the market to refresh them. The DCE was led by Hon Pearl Tsuitorfe, the Assembly member for Vakpo Todzi Electoral Area
Out of excitement, the women began to shout “Dorwolakoe, the next MP” among others.
The outgoing Hon. MP Joycelin Tettey who was informed by this initiative of the DCE, attempted to enter the market to counter the initiative of Hon. Kudjoh Attah but failed to receive a rousing welcome, hence left unceremoniously.

Distribution of Working Tools And Equipment To People With Disability
The District Chief Executive who also doubles as the Parliamentary Candidate for North Dayi, Hon. Kudjoh Attah has challenged people living with disability to embrace the government’s efforts in giving them decent livelihood through supporting them with working tools and equipment in an attempt to making them financially independent and self sustaining.
He made this known on Friday , 16th August , 2024 at a brief ceremony held at the Lorry Park at Anfoega Akukome with the beneficiaries, media and the clergy in attendance.
“He intimated that the age-long practice of sharing peanuts to beneficiaries has resorted to many always begging for alms for livelihood.
Today, there is a gradual paradigm shift to making them self reliant. Thanks to the visionary and caring President we have” he remarked
He admonished them to desist from selling the ovens and other times distributed to them and assured them of his continuous advocacy and support by ensuring that the poor and vulnerable in society especially the PWDs enjoy a dignified life.
A total of (35) thirty- five beneficiaries took home oven, fufu pounding machine, fast moving consumer goods, industrial sewing machine farm inputs, movable cassava mills with additional 200gh for transportation with lunch.

Donation To LEAP Members
On Friday, I together with the Zonal Coordinator of Ghana Productivity Safety Net Project (GPSNP), Dr. Nantwi presented cash grants to some 230 persons to empower them. These beneficiaries are members of LEAP households and employees of the Ghana Productivity Safety Net Project, the latter who are doing Labour Intensive Public Works (LIPW) or climate change activities. They were selected after screening and rigorous training over the last five (5) months.
The first tranche of the money is to enable them to start their businesses, as they have received training in beekeeping, palm oil processing, making detergents, and piggery among others.
Elated by this gesture from the government through my personal intervention, the beneficiaries have promised to do all they can to ensure that they’re able to sustain their various businesses.
We look forward to starting another phase soon.
