He served as polling station executive from 1999 to 2001.
He also engaged in campus politics where he joined UCC TESCON and served as Deputy organiser and Organiser respectively. He was the founder and leader of the Volta caucus for NPP, where he organised his colleagues from campus to sensitize and establish TESCON in all the Teacher Training Colleges from Akatsi to Dambai with the assistance of the then Regional Youth Organiser Mr. Kofi Blagodzi and financially supported by Mr. Kofi Dzamesi, the then Volta Regional Minister.
In 2012, Kudjoh Attah was selected as the interim Constituency Chairman of North Dayi Constituency which was lately created in June, same year. In 2013, he was elected as the constituency chairman, a position he dutifully held until May 2017, when he was appointed as the DCE for North Dayi.
He has won enviable laurels for himself and the NDDA since becoming the DCE. Under his leadership, North Dayi has been adjudged as the best among the 261 districts across the country or among the best as the case maybe, and of course, the very best in Volta at all times assessments.
He served as the Dean of Volta MMDCEs during the first term of his tenure, then briefly as the Volta Dean and Deputy National Dean during the second term. He was the parliamentary candidate of the N.P.P. in 2020 elections.
